Raising up Godly Women

Theodore Roosevelt once said, “People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.” At Grace, we are committed to equip our students with more than theological knowledge. We strive to resource them with the practical ministerial skills necessary to serve others – sharing the love of Christ in both word and deed.

As part of this commitment, we are excited to announce a new ministry partnership with CAREForce.us and its founder, Sr. Chaplain Ken Schlenker, a nationally-recognized crisis care expert.

As phase one of this partnership, we will be offering a series of topical community seminars throughout 2018. The kickoff to this series, “How to Help Others Navigate the Storms of Life,” was offered in November at Grace World Headquarters and garnered more than 100 participants in person and online. We appreciate your prayers as we pursue the development of an accredited chaplaincy program that would provide both certificate and degree options.

Sr. Chaplain Ken Schlenker

“For the last 15 years, CAREForce and its associated ministries, has been on a mission to equip the faith community with the core foundation, knowledge, and skills required to operate within the first responder and secular community environment as a chaplain,” says Schlenker. “Our new collaboration with Grace School of Theology is truly an answer to our prayers and over time will allow us to now embed all that CAREForce.us offers into an accredited program for undergraduate, graduate and non-degree seeking individuals. The practical skills that will be acquired through this training, coupled with solid theological undergirding, will open doors in a way that is unprecedented elsewhere.”
Over 100 people participated in person and online in our kickoff seminar in November.
